The Republican and Democrat parties (hereinafter the “Former Parties”) are incompetent like the fox. Think about it, the Former Parties have taken sides according to America’s emotional preferences, not our rational consciousness. Said another way, they play our emotions against our common senses. The objective of their pseudo bureaucratic incompetence is to maintain a high level of “infighting” among Americans while they manipulate policy and law to rob us blind and gain constant privilege for themselves.
We need change America. And we need to choose with our minds and leave our emotions out of the decision making process. We need prompt action to bring commons sense and the middle-class back to the table
In this blog I will not only poke at the two Former Party giants, I will also offer my humble, commonsensical, suggestions for real change.
What I am not: a racist, redneck, tyrant, or wanna-be cult leader. The pundits, sheeple , and mainstream media, usually label dissidents of the Former Party as such.
How the Former Parties Divide and Conquer
Lets down our emotional affiliations for a moment and think through our current state of affairs in this country. What are the issues of our time with the most emotional energies behind them? Let’s name a few of them: religion, race, sexual preference, and money (social classes). These are a few, but they are arguably the most powerful, and the ones we will use for purposes of this discussion.
Religion:
It is not-secret, that since the beginning of time more people have fought and died for religious causes more than any other. I do not wish to argue validity or push a religious agenda in this section. Religion is here (and first on the list) because I know that it will either intrigue you enough to read through my entire observation, or it will anger and or scare you enough such that you will not read any further an waste your valuable time if you offended. I hope that you are emotionally sophisticated enough to not allow the latter to prevent you from reading further.
Our country was founded on the belief that religion should be practiced by each individual according to his on conscience. As such, it will always have a place in the discussion of politics, with no exception here. Remember, our focus here is not how it should or should not be integrated into the political system. We are striving to understand how the Former Parties use it to divide and conquer the most intelligent and capable among us.
The Ten Commandments on public buildings, prayer in schools, and abortion, need I say more? The dividing line between the two Former Parties is clear. I am not going to point out the divisions, if you are affiliated with either party on an emotional level, you already know where you stand and you have a good idea where the other side stands.
I would simply like to ask at this point why the Former Parties spend so much time on them? Are we not free to worship as we choose? Have our rights as citizens ever truly been in any danger? No, of-course not. However, how much time and energy has our legislative and judicial systems spent arguing these points over the past century? Will any policy relating to this topic make us less vulnerable to attacks from outside aggressors? Will it affect the profitability of major corporations and the American Gross National Product numbers? No.
So, what does the religious tug-o-war between the former parties accomplish? It is very clear from my perspective. It gives both sides a strong base of constituency. The topic adds plethora of bill writing opportunities in which attach frivolous spending (pork). It gives both sides talking points to detract from the real issues and push an agenda of their own ideas of how government should influence our individual spiritual conditions. Attention Former Party members, if it does not infringe on our rights to worship as we please, its simply not important. Stop detracting us from what you are really doing with these emotionally charged issues.
Race:
Remember, leave the emotions out and think about this with me Lets not argue equality for a moment, it plays directly into the hands of the Former Parties. Let’s first ask ourselves whether or not we would, regardless of color, be any better or worse off than we are at this very moment if not another law was passed regarding race and equality from this day forward. Is there still a “fight” and struggle?
If so, who profit from “the fight”? Are there profit being made? Who is making them? How does the perpetuation of the “fight” benefit the Former Parties?
There’s obviously a deep racial divide in this country, I am not so naive as ti the contrary. However, any thinking person can see that lasting repair and enrichment of relations among all races needs to begin within the heart and soul of each individual. Much to this dismay of the Former Parties, they are not able to legislate feelings and emotion. It is my opinion that they honestly believe that this can be done, but the notion is rather foolhardy.
Money:
Money, the crux of our problem, period. Again, the bureaucrats in the Former Parties want us to believe that tax law and finance are highly technical matters that need constant evolution and legislation to keep up with the changing times and global economy. If you will think for a moment about a flat rate tax of 10% (for purposes of this discussion) for every citizen. Yes the rich would pay more. But would the net effect not be the same for every citizen, in that the government would get 10% of earnings?
While on the topic of money, I also suggest that a $1,000 cap be placed on ALL campaign contributions for provate citizen’s and businesses alike. This would be tracked via Social Security or federal Tax ID numbers. We’ll talk about this a little more later.
Sexual Preference:
Anyone who pays the flat 10% income tax is just as entitled to every federal and state benefit his neighbor, regardless of sexual preference or orientation. Let God be the judge of sin and immorality, not your government.
I have briefly outlined some of the primary issues above that the Former Parties use to divide and conquer our population. There are real issues emended in the topics above, make no mistake. However, these issues do not address what is fundamentally wrong with our two party system.
Please America, start looking at the incompetent crooks on our government with an objective, rational, and critical eye. It’s time that we stop letting them pit us against each-other with emotional manipulation.
